I graduated from English Department at University of Tripoli, Libya. Through the four years of undergraduate, I was exposed to a number of subjects that has shaped my foundation knowledge in English language, such as, English grammar, phonetics, literature, theoritical and applied linguistics. After graduation, I was assigned as a lecturer assistant in the department, and practiced teaching for two years. In 2014, I was sponsored to do postgraduate studies in the UK. I went to Warwick university for a masters' degree in applied linguistics, my research focus was on grammar teaching methodology at libyan universities. I carried on passion for research in English language and applied for Eductional Doctorate in TESOL at Exeter university. I am about to start the thesis phase with a focus on teachers' professional development through further education abroad.
