I am studying a John Oldacre PhD studentship entitled:

Overcoming the barriers to increased horticultural production in existing agricultural enterprises: understanding the perspective of Devon's growers - past, present and future

I have a background in horticulture and trained at the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, where I developed a passion for food growing and particularly perennial food crops. Prior to this I worked in Local Government policy looking at, amongst other issues, creating sustainable communities. My undergraduate degree was in History and my Masters degree in History and Politics, both at the University of Nottingham.
