My MA in Cultural Geography was completed at Royal Holloway, University of London in 2017, in which I specialised in Cornish Culture and Identity. During this stage of my postgraduate studies, I chaired a session on Contemporary European Regional Identities at the 2015 Royal Geographical Society Annual International Conference and co-convened the Cornish Connections Conference within the Faculty of Geography and Earth Sciences at Royal Holloway, University of London. I commenced a MPhil/PhD entitled 'The Cornish Language From The Late Eighteenth Century to the Early Twentieth Century' funded by the Cornwall Heritage Trust in the Institute of Cornish Studies at the Penryn campus. I have worked as a primary school teacher for the past fifteen years whilst engaging in postgraduate study part-time.
