I studied Egyptology at the University of Manchester. My research interests include the History of Egyptology and the travels and associated antiquarian collection and artwork of Lady Harriet Kavanagh. I am a trustee for the Association of Studies for Travel in Egypt and the Near East (ASTENE). I hold a B.A. (Mod) in Zoology, Trinity College Dublin, M.Sc., in Wildlife Conservation, Reading University and a H.Dip and PG.Dip. in Statistics and Environmental Management from Trinity College Dublin and University College Dublin.
