My research interest is primary focused on the study of Greek (eastern) and Latin (western) Christianity of the first five centuries.

I am originally from Rome, Italy, where I took a BA in Theology and Religious Studies at the University of Rome 'La Sapienza'. I graduated in 2011 with the final result of 110cum laude/110. Under the supervision of Professor Alberto Camplani, I wrote my final dissertation entitled: 'The Gospel of John in Alexandrian and Antiochian Traditions. Insights from the Commentaries of Cyril of Alexandria and Theodore of Mopsuestia'.

After the BA, I took an MA in Theology and Religious Studies at the University of Rome 'La Sapienza'. I graduated in 2014 with the final result of 110cum laude/110. My final dissertation, supervised by Professor Gaetano Lettieri, was entitled: 'Nothing Personal. From the Doctrine of Justification in Augustine to the Self-Deification in Eckhart in their Interpretation of the Gospel of John'.

I am currently studying at the University of Exeter for my AHRC-funded MPhil/PhD in Theology and Religion (under the supervision of Professor Morwenna Ludlow). My research investigates the role of the Holy Spirit within Origen's and Augustine's commentaries on the Gospel of John.
