I am originally from Banbury, Oxfordshire, and have worked in hospital pharmacy, in medical affairs in the pharmaceutical industry and in Church of England ministry. I have degrees in theology, pharmacy and information science, and am also a professional advisor to the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, the professional body for pharmacists. My research at Exeter is about the impact of pharmaceutical development on the shape of human life, and theological anthropology
